some photos of my brother and i climbing near Cowichan bay. The location is a secret but i can tell you that there are amazing boulders in and around Duncan that are undiscovered. These boulders were untouched when we arrived and have so much opportunity for exploration it is unbelievable. They are a para-conglomerate mix that has been lithofied and it is full of friction. There a few good jugs and lots of smaller pinch holds. The cowichan valley is littered with these amazing boulders so get out and explore!

I am a professional rock climber from Victoria BC and I just released my latest climbing film titled: The Wadi Rum Expedition .
The film documents a first ascent on a 1200ft sandstone wall in the Middle East.
Chris climbing on the Ramparts at Mt Washington. We soloed a few lines on the cliffs behind the actual Ramparts.
mid October 2001. My friend Dave, his dad and I were snowed out on this trip! The bears were everywhere, the rain was horrible down lower and higher up the snow was nearly whiteout at times! Good trip though.
Weeping wall in the Rockies from the begining of October 2001. There was nearly a weeks worth of blue skied weather when I was there!
