I recently had a chance to go out on a fishing charter with PrimeTime Fishing charters out of Tofino B.C and scored. I have never seen fishing like that before. Our Capt Josh Temple has been fishing these waters for ever and knew what he was doing. About 5 minutes after baiting the hooks and dropping the down riggers the lines where buzzing with Salmon. We got our limit of Salmon and then headed over for some Halibut. we had to weed through the Dog Fish “little sharks” but landed a nice 60 pound halibut and two that were in the 20 - 30 range. The weather was a bit fogy with the sun popping out once and a while to say hey, and there was a little bump to the ocean but all in all it was an amazing experience. Nothing better than a fresh slab of halibut on the dinner plate fresh from the ocean. If you are considering a trip to Tofino and want to go fishing, Josh runs a good boat and is worth a call.
