NoTes: After several years of trying to chase skaters out of the underground and skate proof the mall upstairs, Intrawest consulted with some skaters in-house on what to do. The answer give them a place to skate and they will take care of the rest! The result a skater funded mini-park underground in exchange for self policing of vandalism in the area and an agreement to avoid the mall upstairs.
After a winter of fundraising skate jams and gigs, enough cash was made to build a wooden bowl 3.5 high, 12 wide and 24 long. Being a skater built project, it took a long time to complete because everyone would just skate the finished section instead of working on the new stuff, but eventually it got done. There are also a number of other features including some funky rails, boxes and jump ramps donated by local skaters.
