The Zoo York Institute, in association with Monster Energy, Fallen Footwear, Underworld Skateshop, and SBC Media, is proud to announce that from July 18-20, 2008, the fourth installment of Zoo York's AM Getting Paid contest will be held at South Parc Skatepark in Montr�al, Canada (Quebec). Widely recognized as one of today’s most prestigious international skateboarding competitions for amateurs only, this year’s contest carries a hefty prize purse of $10,000 USD.

Registration is now open for AM Getting Paid 2008. With only 150 spots available, competitors are strongly encouraged to sign up as soon as possible at www.amgettingpaid.com.

Cyrus has the voice of the new skateboard generation. His salty sarcasm mixed with his vast skateboard knowledge makes him a pleasure to listen to. Cyrus will either make you laugh or cry depending which side of the joke you are on.

Montreal, QC

Nic has been holding down the MTL skate scene for a long time now. He knows all the skateheads and knows all their tricks. Nic will be spitting out tricks and jokes for all you francophones.

You can’t forget this legend. He even a had a trick named after him, “Barley Grind.” Having Donny behind the score sheet will benefit everyone. Donny has competed in many pro contests and he knows what a winning line looks like.

IIf you want to impress Justin, make sure you got some style to your swagger. Justin is a SF local and has been pushing for years. He can separate the bull from the bullshit, so get your ‘A’ game on.

Zoo York is proud to announce the fourth installment of the most prestigious international amateur skateboard contest “Zoo York’s AM Getting Paid”. The contest’s focus is showcasing the very best in skateboarding on a scale no other amateur event can offer. This pro free event will happen again July 18th to 20th 2008 at South Parc in Montreal (Quebec). This years prize purse is $10 000 dollars.

This years contest will be held in the middle of the summer making it a great opportunity for skate companies to come to eastern Canada to promote their pro & amateur teams simultaneously. There is opportunity to organize demos, in store signings in, and/or to simply go out & get footage for upcoming videos. Montreal is close to Quebec city, Ottawa & Toronto. All of these cities are known for having some of the best street spots in North America*.
