Vancouver Island SUP series
This is the fourth year of Vancouver Island’s first Stand Up Paddle Board Race Series. This unique event features four stops around Vancouver Island, British Columbia: Victoria, Tofino, Comox and Parksville. The fun and fast growing sport of Stand Up Paddle Boarding is showcased at each location with off the beach sprint races, fun relays and long distance courses. The beach culture side of each event includes a BBQ, music, MC judging booth, demos for the public and information on new water sports products. The Surf SUP event team provides a fun and safe environment for all levels from first time SUPers to advanced riders. Come join us and make the Island Series part of your vacation plans! The Tofino event of the Vancouver Island Surf SUP series is the first of it's kind to be held in Canada a "Surf Race" style event. The stop in Tofino was hands down the best venue yet and will definitely be bigger and better next year! Big thank you to the Tin Wis resort in Tofino, Catherine Bruhwiler at Tofino Paddle surf, all the local Sponsors and big thanks to the Robinson family for organizing the event. A lot of smiles on this day, great camaraderie, and ridiculously nice weather...
