Job Posting: Host - DAY CAMP LEADER

The Crystal Pool & Fitness Centre is seeking one Day Camp Leader to work with its summer programs as a Skate Park Host. This position is expected to run from June 16 to August 29, 2008.

Main tasks include programming, leading and supervising children in skateboarding lessons throughout the summer, general supervision of the park and it activities. Candidates will have a sound knowledge of skateboarding, games, sports, outdoor recreation, event planning and risk management. Strong leadership abilities along with an understanding of how to effectively work with children and youth is essential. Current standard first aid and CPR is required. Successful applicants will be required to provide criminal record clearance as a condition of employment.

The rate of pay for this position is $14.37 per hour, with an additional 12% in lieu of benefits.
